Thanksgiving.

I’m excited for Thanksgiving.

My brother will be home. He rocks.

There will be sweet potatoes and marshmellows.

I will be able to watch Marvel try to get out the doggie door.

I’ll get to see some family friends I haven’t seen in ages. They used to be a hoot, so probably still will be.

Baby Grey time + Tranee time = Jackson family love.

The Oswalts will meet Marvel.

My dad will tell me what I need to be doing with my life.

I won’t be at work.

I have lots to be thankful for. I just have to wait a week.

P.S. When I asked my momma if she needed me to bring chairs, she responded with “Maybe we need a pinata?”

Shoe shine.

My deskmate Dan just ridiculed my non sensible shoes (he can’t comprehend heels and why women wear them). This led to a shoe inspection, which led to to him saying they needed to be polished. Dan then reached in his drawer and go out shoe shine and asked for my shoe. He showed me that first you must apply the shine, then you must use the brush and in my shoe’s case, sometimes you have to repeat the process

All in a day’s work.

Furniture quest.

Yesterday and today, I did a whole lot of nothing. Today I started on a furniture quest, because I still don’t own furniture (besides a bed and some bookshelves). I went down Westheimer to look in some antique shops I’ve always wanted to go in. All that I succeeded in was wanting expensive unique things that I would never be able to match. The gift of interior decorating was never bestowed on me. Maybe it would have been easier to make a decision on something if I’d had someone with me to bounce ideas off of. As I continued down Westheimer, stopping periodically, I went in Crate & Barrel. Their things were gorgeous, and came in pre-matched in “sets”- to bad these whole sets of things cost lots of dollars. Now all I can think about is possible furniture combinations and what their costs will be to me.
