Bob Schneider – HOB

We almost recreated Christine’s bachelorette the other night. We saw ol’ Bob at Gruene Hall and Sandra snagged us tickets for us to see him again. Leah and I went once in college too, so basically Bob is getting up there with Dave Mathews concerts now.

Girls @ Bob

Christine, Sandra, and Leah met at my house and we ate blueberry muffins for our pre-concert event. Sarah just happened to be there with a coworker, adding to our Gruene Hall recreation (we never did run into Kim, I guess living in Dallas makes that not so likely).

Bob @ HOB

This is Leah and her friend Bob. His music is just fun, so listen to it. She also remarked that he never looks the same. His hair was crazy jelled up at Gruene Hall and I think he was a skinnier man when we saw him in college.

We were a little confused on the time of this event, so we were early. We really thought that it wasn’t going to be that crowded, but we beat the crowd. Beating the crowd allowed us to get a sweet spot. Leaving this spot and coming back to it was pretty difficult, potty breaks were tough, but it was a great view. The gals and I were super close. It was a fun night and it makes me crave some more fun nights. I need more concerts in my life.

Thank you Sandra for the tickets!

Wedding Weekend!

CHRISTINE AND JUSTIN GOT MARRIED!

Christine and Justin’s wedding made for a beautiful weekend and I was very proud to be a part of it. Christine has been a very good friend to me since freshman year of college. She is now a teacher, a homeowner, and a wife. She did a phenomenal job planning this wedding and it paid off, it went very smoothly! And because I adore Christine, I took A LOT of pictures this weekend. Below are some of my favorites. I will definitely have a few more wedding posts this week as I come off my weekend wedding high.

More Justin and Christine Wedding to come…

The Wedding is Coming Soon!

Last month we went on a little trip for Christine’s Bachelorette Party. I don’t think many of us had been a girl trip since college. It was great to have a mini adventure with a dear friend to celebrate the coming changes in her life. Christine is about to be a real life grown-up.

We went out on 6th Street in Austin all dressed in black dresses. Christine wore a diamond on her head, which was pretty darn awesome.

On Saturday we drove to Gruene, Texas. We floated the river and it was cold. We ate at the glorious Gristmill and went to Gruene Hall. I had always wanted to go to Gruene Hall and I have to say it was my favorite part of the weekend.

Christine thinks it is too loud. She is adorable. She is getting married.  Growing up is so very strange. Good luck lady!

Christine's Birthday

Christine @ art show

Ms. Faller’s birthday was on Sunday, and I am running a few days behind on appreciating her. She is only a baby, she turned 24; and since I turned 25 a month ago, I can call her a baby. I always find it interesting how certain people make their ways into each other’s lives. When I met her 6 years ago, I would have never thought she would have become one of my nearest and dearest friends. Christine became friends with Kim at Fish Camp. Kim lived caddy corner to me in the dorm. Christine was around and I thought she was a hoot. We both got into CARPOOL the same semester and having a friend on nights and at meetings brought us closer together. Christine is always entertaining, and always thoughtful. I know she is someone I will always be able to count on.I love and adore her and am lucky to have her in my life.
